ETHAN — Kimberly Kay Miiller, 41, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2013.
Her funeral will be at10:30 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church with burial be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday with a scripture service at 7 p.m. at the Bittner Funeral Chapel in Mitchell.
Kimberly Kay Miiller was born June 23, 1971, in Deadwood to Frank and Faith (Lackey) Maynard. She graduated from Mitchell High School in 1989. She worked at Happy Chef and Shopko until 1993.
On Aug. 14, 199,3 she married James Miiller. They farmed near Mitchell. She was employed by Scrappin Ladies 2, where she became manager in 2006 and then owner in 2008. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and was an avid Vikings fan.
She is survived by her husband, James; two sons, Austin and Kardel; her father, Frank (Nancy) Maynard of Hot Springs; her mother, Faith Maynard of Mitchell; two brothers, Jason (Susan) Maynard of East Meadow, Long Island, N.Y., and Chad (Heidi) Maynard of Harrisburg; two stepbrothers, Joe (Andrea) Fiala of Miller, and Jeff (Stacie) Collins of Hot Springs; two sisters-in-law, Elaine Erickson of Hitchcock, and Karen Miiller of Sioux Falls; her parents-in-law, Dale and Cheryl Miiller of Ethan; her grandmother, Ethel Lackey of Huron; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Phillip and Olive Maynard and Lester Lackey.
A memorial fund is being established in her name to the Ethan High School.
