CRESBARD — Lloyd Harmon, 92, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at Sanford Medical Center, Aberdeen.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Cresbard United Methodist Church with the Rev. Julie Nygaard officiating. Burial will follow in the Cresbard Cemetery. Lloyd Harmon was born April 3, 1920, in Chelsea to Harry and Clara (Hillberg) Harmon. He graduated from Northville High School in 1938. He attended the CC Camp in 1940 at Custer.
On Nov. 23, 1940, he married Thelda Date in Miller.
He enjoyed farming, being a pilot, hunting and an occasional fishing trip.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelda, on Feb. 28, 2010; two sons, James on Aug. 10, 1969, and Larry on Jan. 25, 1975; and his parents.
Survivors include a son, Dennis (Dennise) Harmon of Chelsea; daughter, Marilyn (Tom) Niedjelski of Mantorville, Minn.; four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
