Let’s hear it for farmers!

Entertainment was provided by Gloria Schaefer at the 2013 Farmers Appreciation Banquet held at the Huron Event Center. The crowd roared with laughter as Schaefer described several of her most humorous moments from growing up on a farm near Cresbard to her trials working on the ranch she co-owns with her husband Jim, Schaefer Ranch near Kennebec. The banquet was put on by the Huron Chamber and Visitors Bureau Agriculture Committee, and had a number of sponsors, including James River Equipment, which sponsored the entertainment.
