WATERTOWN — After trailing by nine points heading into the fourth quarter, the Huron girls’ basketball team made a run at the victory on Tuesday against Watertown.
The Arrows escaped with a 45-41 victory in the regular-season finale.
Ashtin McClemans finished with a game-high 15 points for Watertow, while Mandy Tetzlaff had 10 points and Elli Stevenson and Danielle Duncan each added nine points.
Calla Rounds was the lone player to reach double figures for the Tigers, with 11 points. Sarah Carr had eight points, while Brittany Steffen added six points.
Huron will open postseason play on Monday. The Tigers will travel to face Aberdeen Central in the opening round of the District 3AA Tournament.
