HURON ó The Rev. Dallas Anderson will be guest speaker at special meetings Saturday and Sunday at Prairie Bible Church near Carpenter, located 6 1/2 miles east of the intersection of U.S. Highways 37 and 28.
A menís breakfast will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, along with an evening service at 7:30 p.m. Services on Sunday will be held at 10:45 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Anderson serves as National Facilitator of Evangelism for the Mission America Coalition (MAC). The Mission America Coalition is the nationís largest evangelism coalition with leaders from more than 81 denominations and about 350 ministries. He also serves as outreach pastor and evangelism coach/consultant across the nation.
He recently completed 12 years of service at the Billy Graham Center at Wheaton College. After surrendering his life to Jesus at the age of 13, he has spent the last 43 years in prison ministry, denominational leadership, national ministry, coaching, mentoring, evangelism and the pastorate.
During his tenure as Director of Church Evangelism for the Billy Graham Center at Wheaton College, he gave leadership to the development and implementation of the Evangelizing Church Project, which exists to equip existing churches to become expanding churches through conversion growth.
From 2000 to 2007 he was responsible to train and help deploy teams into prisons across the nation in a large collaborative prison ministry called Operation Starting Line (OSL). OSL was able to present the gospel to more than 700,000 inmates in 23 states and Mexico during his tenure.
Above all, the passion of Andersonís heart is to know Christ and to make Him known. He has had the privilege of teaching in more than 43 countries, hundreds of prisons and in a wide variety of settings.
Anderson and his his wife, Leslie (an author and speaker of Pool of Bethesda Ministries), live on a ranch near Lake Norden along with 4-year old-daughter, Isabella, and 2-year-old son, Elijah.For the complete article see the 02-21-2013 issue.
