Walter G. Coleman, 82, of Jackson, Mich.

JACKSON, Mich. — Walter G. Coleman, 82, died March 3, 2013, in Jackson, Michigan.

Service will be Thursday, 10 a.m., at the Dearborn Chapel of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1 to 9 p.m. with burial at St. Hedwig Cemetery.

He served in the Korean War as a U.S. Marine and retired from the Dearborn Police Department after 33 years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Eileen; children, Randall (Jessica) of Detriot, Mich., Rhonda (David) Meek of Beavercreek, Ohio, Robert (Janet) of Cavour; and eight grandchildren.
