VERMILLION — The Huron Tiger pole vaulters brought home hardware from the Dan Lennon Invitational, which was held Monday at the DakotaDome in Vermillion.

Reagan Francom won his second title in as many outings for the Tigers with a mark of 14-foot in the boys’ competition.

Huron coach Dan Thelen said Francom flirted with breaking the meet record after claiming the top spot in the meet.

On the girls’ side, Tessa Musil and Kamelia Schneider both went 10-0 to claim the second and third spots, respectively.

Huron’s full track team will open its season on Thursday at the Al Sahli Invitational Indoor Meet at the Barnett Center in Aberdeen. The Huron Invitational is scheduled April 5 at Tiger Stadium.
