HOWARD — April Dawn Hendrycks, 66, of Howard, and formerly of the Twin Cities and Le Sueur, Minn., areas, died Friday, April 26, 2013 at the Select Specialty Care Hospital in the USD Sanford Hospital, Sioux Falls.
Her memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Willoughby Funeral Home in Howard, with inurnment at a later date. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday and continue through the time of service at the funeral home.
April Dawn Bradbury was born April 28, 1946, at Madison, to Stuart and Darlene (Leith) Bradbury. She grew up in the Howard area, moving with her family to Madison where she graduated in 1964.
In September 1964, she married Donald Hill at Howard. The couple moved to the Twin Cities and later to Le Sueur area. She worked for Jolly Green Giant and General Mills Company.
She married Richard Hendrycks in 1988 at Mankato, Minn. He died Dec. 23, 2001. She worked for ADC Telecommunications until moving to Howard in 2005.
She is survived by a son, Bradley Hill of Kenyon, Minn.; a daughter, Holly (Alan) Freiderich of Rosemount, Minn.; four grandchildren; three sisters: Carol (Sonny) Chamberlain of Idaho Falls, Idaho; Jann Bradbury of Minneapolis, and Dianne (Don) Arens of Howard.
