MaryAnn Tschetter, 78, of Sun City West Arizona, and formerly of Huron

SUN CITY WEST, Ariz. — MaryAnn Tschetter, 78, of Sun City West Arizona, formerly of Huron, died Thursday, April 25, 2013.

Her memorial service will be at Radiant Church, 15522 W. Paradise Lane, Surprise, Ariz. 85374 at 10 a.m., May 13, with the Rev. Dale McClellan officiating.

MaryAnn Tschetter was born Aug. 10, 1934, to Joe P. and Anna (Hofer) Kleinsasser, near Yale. She graduated from Yale High School in 1952.

On March 3, 1953, she married Clinton Tschetter. She was a seamstress and made many blankets and play-books. She enjoyed cooking, baking and writing poems.

She accepted Jesus as her Savior when she was 10 years old, and was baptized in water as a teenager. In 1961 she was filled with the Holy Spirit.

She sang in choirs, taught Sunday school and children’s church and was active in women’s ministries. She was in many plays in the church and the community and hosted youth parties at her home.

She is survived by her husband of more than 60 years, Clinton. They have three sons, Greg (Trish), of Arizona, Garth (Sherlyn), of Colorado and Grant, of Colorado; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Irene, her brother Arnie, and infant grandson, Gregory, Jr.
