BRYANT — Robert K. (Bob) Randall, 89, of Bryant, died April 30, 2013, at a Fargo Hospital.
Services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the United Church of Christ in Bryant. Visitation will be held at the Osthus Funeral Chapel in Bryant on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Bryant.
Robert Keene Randall was born Feb. 13, 1924, in Duluth, Minn. to Grace and Freeman Randall. He attended school in Duluth. He then enlisted in the Air Force. He served as a navigator on a B-29 and achieved the rank of First Lieutenant.
He married Elizabeth Pittman on Oct. 13, 1944.
After his discharge from the Air Force, he attended dental school at Northwestern in Chicago. In 1952 he moved to Bryant and continued his dental practice for 34 years. He was an avid fisherman.
He was a member of the United Church of Christ in Bryant, the Bryant American Legion Post #37, the Bryant School Board, and several other civic organizations in the community.
He is survived by his son Richard (Denise) Randall; one sister-in-law, Lee Randall of Bryant; a niece, Janet (Rick) Anderson of Bryant; two grandchildren; and other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Liz; his parents; and two brothers, William and John.For the complete article see the 05-02-2013 issue.
