HURON — The National Association of Letter Carriers and National Rural Letter Carriers Association is planning its annual “Stamp Out Hunger” food drive all day Saturday. Letter carriers and rural carriers will pick up bags of food that can be left by mailboxes on Saturday, May 11.
If people want to make donations, there will be drop boxes for the food drive that will be located at Coborn’s Foods and Fair City Foods.
Last year more than 3,740 pounds of food were picked up.
All food items collected will be given to the Salvation Army food pantry.
