HURON ó A Wolsey man was injured when his motorcycle and another vehicle collided at Highway 14 and West Park Avenue at about 6:50 a.m. Monday.
James Borkowski, 50, was transported by Huron ambulance to the Huron Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, said public information officer Cory Borg.
Scott Gilbert, 41, of Hitchcock was driving a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado westbound on Highway 14 and was turning south onto West Park Avenue when he yielded to a vehicle traveling northbound who failed to stop at the stop sign at Highway 14 and West Park Avenue.
Gilbert then continued turning southbound onto West Park Avenue, but didnít see Borkowski driving eastbound on Highway 14 on his 2012 Victory Cross Country motorcycle.
Borkowski applied his brakes and collided with Gilbertís vehicle. Gilbert was wearing his seat belt and was uninjured and Borkowski was wearing a motorcycle helmet.
