HURON (AP) — A Huron woman who was charged with identity theft along with her three children has been sentenced to 1 ˝ years in prison and restitution.
Police arrested Shelene Freeman and her three adult children in mid-April. Authorities say they were able to obtain personal information from others and use it to access those people’s bank accounts.
Freeman was sentenced this week after earlier pleading guilty to identity theft. Her children await sentencing in the case.For the complete article see the 07-06-2013 issue.
