WOLSEY — Alfred Dennis Kellogg, 80, of Wolsey, died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013, at his home.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Aug. 10, from 1 to 2 p.m., with family present, at Kuhler Funeral Home. A private burial will be in the Woonsocket Eventide Cemetery at a later date.
Alfred Dennis Kellogg was born on July 30, 1933, to Earl and Iola Kellogg in Denver, Colo. He graduated from Stadium High School.
He married Agnes M. Kellogg in Denver, Colo. He worked as a movie theater janitor for 50 cents an hour. He also worked as a drive-in janitor. He was then employed by the Denver Police Department for 29 years as a janitor.
He enjoyed playing bingo, fishing, doing puzzles, rollercoaster rides, and amusement park roller-skating.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes M. Kellogg; parents, Earl Kellogg and Lola Kellogg; and two brothers, Charles Kellogg and Kenneth Kellogg; and one daughter, Phyllis (Bob McCoy) Taylor.
He is survived by his two children, Mary Speck of Wolsey and Yolanda (Hector) Beltran of Huron; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.For the complete article see the 08-09-2013 issue.
