FAULKTON — Harold Hadrick, 70, of Faulkton, died Monday, Dec. 30, 2013, at the Faulkton Healthcare Center. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the United Church of Faulkton with the Rev. Bill Hoffman officiating. Burial will follow at the Faulkton Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today, with a 7 p.m. prayer service at the church.Harold Hadrick was born on July 25, 1943, to Louis and Bertha (Elliott) Hadrick in Faulkton. He graduated from Faulkton High School and attended Southern State College for one year. In 1966, Harold joined the South Dakota National Guard.
On Dec. 12, 1970, he married Janice Winquist in LaBolt. He was involved in the United Methodist Church, the Masonic Lodge, the Yelduz Shrine, and the American Legion having served as post commander.
He is survived by his wife, Jan of Faulkton; children, David (Trisha) Hadrick of Faulkton, Allen Hadrick of Faulkton and Susie (John) Leahy of Rapid City; three grandchildren:; brothers, Donald (Virjean) Hadrick of Sturgis and Robert (Marilyn) Hadrick of Faulkton; sister-in-law, Ardyce Hadrick of Faulkton; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles.
