INVER GROVE HEIGHTS, Minn. — Connie L. McCoy, 64, of Inver Grove Heights, Minn., died peacefully with her husband and son holding her hand, and surrounded by family on June 7, 2014.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Lane.
She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Neil; son, Aaron (Holly) Mueller; grandchildren, Bryce and Max; father, Victor Lane; five sisters, Patricia (Denny Streveler), Phyllis (Greg Pettis), Jacquelyn Husting, Roberta (Fred Winkler) and Judy (Mike Sedahl). Two brothers, John (Kathy) and Dan (Patsy); nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Connie worked for more than 30 years in the banking industry and was very active in her community. She was past chairman of the River Heights Chamber of Commerce, past president of the IGH-SSP Rotary Club, a member of the Inver Hills Community college financial board and was also recognized as one of the Top Women in Finance in 2011. Connie lived a very active and healthy life to the fullest. She will be remembered for her smile, friendship, kindness, caring of others and will be dearly missed.
Christian burial mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 13, at the Church of Saint Patrick,( 3535 72nd Street, Inver Barbara Avenue, Inver Grove Heights, Minn.) and also one hour prior to the mass at the church.
