NEW UNDERWOOD — Helen L. Hall, 85, of New Underwood, died Mon., June 9, 2014, at the Good Samaritan Society of New Underwood.
Visitation will be at the New Underwood School Gym on Thurs., June 12 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a 6 p.m. Rosary. Burial mass is set for 10 a.m. Friday at the New Underwood School Gym, with the Rev. Bill Zandri officiating. Private burial will follow at the New Underwood Cemetery, with a reception and luncheon at the New Underwood Community Center.
Helen LaVelle Brons was born to Walter H. and Erma L. (Magness) Brons on March 22, 1929, in a chicken coop north of Saint Lawrence. She graduated from Saint Lawrence High School. She married Robert C. Hall at Saint Anne’s Catholic Church in Miller on Oct. 15, 1947.
She is survived by her husband, Robert C. Hall of New Underwood; her 12 children, Kathy (Glenn) Goodman of New Underwood, Bob (Mary) Hall of Indian Trail N.C., Greg (Patty) Hall of New Underwood, Meri Jo (Daryl) Anderson of New Underwood, Sheila (Tim) Stover of Owanka, John (Amy) Hall of Three Forks Mont., Bill (Gwen) Hall of Baker, Mont., Cindy (Rocky) Oakley of Rockham, Jim (Mel) Hall of Baker, Mont., Tim Hall of New Underwood, Barb (Greg) Jensen of Saint Lawrence, and Danny Hall of Wasta; 46 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; sister, Marge Bridenbaugh; sisters-in-law, Colleen Vining and Nancy Hall; brothers-in-law, Chuck Hall and Harvey Malon; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Mericlaire Kulm; two granddaughters; and numerous in-laws.
