HURON — Late Night With David Letterman will have a Huron connection on Wednesday.
Jesse Peterson, son of Geri and Hans Peterson of Huron, will be playing violin with Minnesota artist Jeremy Messersmith on the show.
Messersmith and his band will be flying to New York on Tuesday to perform Wednesday on the show, which is taped during the day.
Peterson plays in a string quartet named The Laurels Quartet that backs up several Twin Cities bands and does studio recordings.
He graduated from Huron High School in 1997, from St. Cloud State University in 2003 and currently teaches band and orchestra in the Anoka-Hennepin School District in Minnesota.For the complete article see the 08-17-2014 issue.
