1st Stop Insurance, IMT Insurance make award to Girls on the Run

HURON — The IMT Insurace Company Community Contest awards monetary gifts to community projects and organizations within the states the company does business. This year, 47 awards were gifted to local projects and organizations in need. 1st Stop Insurance of Huron submitted an entry for Girls on the Run (GOTR) which was graciously selected and awarded $1,000.

Girls on the Run has fun, evidence-based programs that inspire girl empowerment by building confidence, kindness, and decision-making skills. 

It’s a twelve-week program, meeting Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Washington 4-5 Center.  During the twelve-week program the girls are building their minds, confidence, hearts, and physical strength, and they will all participate in a 5K together. 

The GOTR Coaches are Kim Rieger, Jessica Hotchkiss, Ashley Curnow, Allison Ness, and Ashley Lindgren.

1st Stop insurance works closely with its partners to provide world-class products with home-town services and community support. IMT is one of the partners with which 1st Stop Insurance collaborates, to provide insurance to its customers.
