Beadle County 4-H and the Prairie Wranglers 4-H Club hosted its annual horse camp on June 11, for young riders in preparation of the Beadle County Horse Show, which will take place Monday, June 17, at the Heartland Rodeo Arena.
Volunteers began the afternoon demonstrating proper grooming, horse maintenance and horse safety. Afterward, the young riders were able to practice their skills in showmanship, horsemanship and the trail class inside the arena. The horse camp organizers thank all of he volunteers and instructors who helped make the day a success and to the Huron Chamber for donating beverages and snacks for the participants.
