HURON — Like many other events, the Huron Area Antique Power Association’s annual Antique Power Show was not held in 2020, due to the pandemic.
But this year’s show - the group’s 23rd such gathering - will take place this Saturday and Sunday, June 19 and 20, on the southwest corner of the S.D. State Fairgrounds in Huron, which is adjacent to Gate 8 on Lincoln Ave. There is no admission charge to attend the Antique Power Show.
This year’s featured brand is all things John Deere green, including tractors, implements and stationary engines, although all makes and models are welcome and encouraged to attend and add to the display of antique power.
There will be a flea market during the Antique Power Show and concessions are available on the site as well. Activities and demonstrations of all shapes and sizes will take place throughout the weekend and the popular daily antique power parade - set for 2:30 p.m. each day - highlight the weekend.
