Highmore-Harrold 59, North Central 23
HIGHMORE – The Highmore-Harrold Pirates opened postseason play with a dominant 59-23 victory over the North Central Titans Tuesday in Highmore.
Letha Jessen led eight Pirates in the scoring column with 16 points and also paced the team with seven rebounds as Highmore-Harrold improves to 15-5 on the year. Grace Knox added 11 points.
Kassie Hale and Haley Husted led the Pirates with five assists apiece.
Brittney Frickson led the Titans with seven points. Grace Walz grabbed seven rebounds to lead North Central, who finishes the year 4-12.
The Pirates move on to face Faulkton Area in Highmore Thursday in a qualifying game for the SoDak 16.
