WESSINGTON — Betty Pevestorf, 86, of Wessington, passed away Monday, February 4, 2019, at Lakeside Hospital in Omaha, Neb.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, February 9, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Wolsey. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery at rural Wessington. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at St. John’s Lutheran Church.
Betty Mae Robertson Pevestorf was born August 9, 1932, in Wessington to Bud and Mae (McInnis) Robertson. She graduated from Miller High School. She was united in marriage to Harold Pevestorf June 23, 1957. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church and of the Rose Hill extension club.
She is survived by her children, Doreen (Dave) Biedermann of St Paul, Minn., Gail (Wayne) Christensen of Laramie, Wyo., and Jean (Paul) Holtzen of Omaha, Neb.; four grandchildren; siblings, Kaye (Willie) McDonough, Nancy (Ron) Gedenberg, Jerry (Sharyl) Robertson, Barbara Robertson, and Denny (Sandy) Robertson; brother-in-law, George Oldham; sister-in-law, Carol Pevestorf of Huron; aunt, Mary Rae Anson of Wessington; and many of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; and four siblings.
