HURON — The Huron Chamber & Visitors Bureau has enjoyed a successful Shop Huron & Win incentive campaign this holiday season. A total of 95 qualifiers are eligible for this afternoon’s live Facebook drawing for Huron Bucks prizes.
“While it is always important to support our local businesses, as they are the ones that support our community by investing in Huron and our local activities and fundraisers, but during 2020, it has really made a difference in keeping the doors open” said Laurie Shelton, President & CEO of the Huron Chamber & Visitors Bureau.
“A total of $482,672 in receipts were turned in for 10,886 entries since the start of the campaign on Oct. 1.”
The Huron Chamber & Visitors Bureau will be doing a Facebook live event at 3 p.m. this afternoon, to announce four winners, who will each take home $1,000 in Huron Bucks. One of those four will be someone who has shopped at a small, locally owned business over the last 12 weeks. This person did not have to qualify each week, they just needed to turn in a receipt from a small business. The other 3 winners are from the weekly qualifiers over the last 12 weeks. “There will be a surprise guest who will be helping with our drawings, so tune in at 3 p.m. and help us celebrate” said Shelton. “We are so thankful to all of our sponsors for making this Shop & Win incentive campaign a success. Without them, this event would not be possible.”
The following 95 people have qualified for today’s live drawing for one of four $1,000 Huron Bucks prizes.
Some of these entrants have qualified more than one time during the Shop Huron & Win campaign.
