MILLER – The Sully Buttes Chargers stormed in and swept the Sunshine Bible Academy Crusaders Thursday by scores of 25-17, 25-14, and 28-26 at the SBA Event Center.
The Chargers move to 6-8 behind a strong match from junior Allyson Wittler. Wittler was 12 of 16 serving with six aces and 20 of 24 hitting with 15 kills.
Calleigh Chicoine added five service aces and 18 assists for Sully Buttes. Tailynn Bradford led the team with 21 assists while Trichelle White put down 12 kills.
The Crusaders fall to 3-8. Sadie Konechne was perfect serving, going 11 for 11 with three aces. Aja Paul led the team with five kills and also had a pair of service aces.
Sully Buttes won the JV match 2-1.
Sunshine Bible Academy travels to Onida for the Central South Dakota Conference tournament today.
