The Carthage Class of 1972 celebrated its 50th class reunion Saturday, Aug. 6, at Carthage’s Strawbale Days. The class rode a float in the morning parade and spent the afternoon with friends and family, then touring the area attractions. An evening meal was enjoyed at the Cabaret and then they gathered at the Carthage Community Hall, reminiscing and exchanging information. There were 20 total members of the class, although two are deceased and three were unable to attend.
Class members in attendance were, front row, from left: Robert (Debbie) Stroud, Richard (Nancy) Bornitz, Kirk Anderson, Russ (Lois) Stroud and Doug (Tracy) Morstad. In the back are: Kathy Brown (Bob) Huska, Marvie Eid (Gary) Robbins, Vicki Corbin (Charles) Rostyne, Vickie Wells (DeLee) Knudson, Karen Zapp (Kevin) Cich, Lynn Kieffer (Calvin) Starzl, Angie Swanson (Bill) Nibbelink, Patricia Kane (Dave) Linke, Marjean Hamro (Dave) Wyatt and Paula Madison (Corky) Stevens.
