Cyclones close boys basketball season with victory

ARLINGTON — The Clark/Willow Lake Cyclones closed the regular season on an up note Friday night, taking a 51-44 win over the Arlington Cardinals. CWL ends the regular season with a record of 13-7, while Arlington’s loss closes the curtain on an 8-12 regular season for the Cardinals.

Trey Huber scored 13 points, Renner Uecker and and Kalab Marx each notched 11 and Marx also had a game-high 14 rebounds for the Cyclones.

Arlington was led by Ryker Erstad’s 17 point effort while Chris Wallace scored 11 and claimed seven rebounds for the Cardinals.

Clark/Willow Lake will enter Class 2A regional play next week, while Arlington will begin post season action in the Region 3B tournament.
