Dakota Provisions released the following statement on Thursday:

"On Monday the 18th the Dakota Provision second shift “Ready to Eat” employees returned to work and were fully screened for temperature and any ill effects. Those showing no temperature or ill effects were allowed to return to work.

We do have a number of employees that have voluntarily asked to stay home so they will not be exposed. Currently we have 6 confirmed positive employees. We are currently monitoring employee temperatures twice a day.

We continue to conduct extra effort in cleaning and sanitizing during the day and fogging common areas during the night. We are in daily contact with the Beadle County United Task Force and the SD Health Department. We continue to follow all local, state and national guidelines concerning COVID-19."
