OMAHA, Neb. — Dave Stahl, 64, peacefully passed away, holding his wife Christine’s hand on July 21, 2021, at his home in Omaha, Nebraska, after a brief struggle with brain cancer.

Dave was born June 3, 1957, to Joe and Marj Stahl in Huron. He joined brothers, Jim (Suzie) Stahl, Huron; Jerry (Bobbi) Stahl, Eden Prairie, Minn., and was followed by sisters, Mary Jo Stahl, Plymouth, Minn., and Terri (Peter) Harris, Long Prairie, Minn.

He was selected to multiple All State teams and was a member of the initial class of the Huron High School Hockey Hall of Fame. In later years Dave transferred this love to riding his Harley. He called it his “therapy”.

Dave made lifelong friends growing up in Huron before moving to Omaha in 1978. After a long courtship he married his wife Christine in 2002 and added stepchildren Mikki Barnes and Christian Carver, Omaha Neb., to his family.
