HURON — Dianne L. Sammons, 73, of Huron, passed away on Friday, August 9, 2019, at SunQuest Healthcare Center in Huron.
Her Celebration of Life service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, at Welter Funeral Home with burial at Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery at a later date. Visitation with her family present will be from 5 p.m. until the time of service.
Dianne Lynn Sammons was born to Donald and Lorraine (Barber) Byerly on May 2, 1946, in Huron. She graduated from Huron High School and Huron College of Commerce.
She married Gaylord Sammons on July 11, 1964, in Huron.
She is survived by her children Renee (Mark) Schleis of LeMars, Iowa, Daniel Sammons of Seattle, Wa., and Candace (Mike) Moore of Huron; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her sister, Georgie Chancellor of Wichita, Kan.; and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her infant brother David; and numerous aunts and uncles.
