HURON — The South Dakota State Fair and Legend Seeds welcome Easton Corbin to the S.D. State Fair Grandstand on Friday, Sept.1. Corbin will be the opening act for Big & Rich with Cowboy Troy.
Corbin has been producing country hits like “Baby Be My Love Song,” “ Lovin’ You Is Fun,” “A Little More Country Than That,” “Roll With It” and “All Over the Road” since he released his debut album in 2010.
“When we were tossing around ideas on who to get to open for Big & Rich, we came across Easton Corbin and knew instantly that was the route to go,” said State Fairgrounds manager Peggy Besch. “With two No. 1 singles, Corbin has made an impression on the country music landscape. He’s known for his traditional country sound, authentic lyrics and will definitely set a good tone for Friday night’s show. We’re excited to be hosting him along with Big & Rich and Cowboy Troy.”
Pre-sale on tickets will begin June 19 for backrest holders followed by Friends of the Fair ticket sales on June 22. General public ticket sales will begin June 26.
The 2017 South Dakota State Fair will run from Thursday, Aug. 31 through Monday, Sept. 4. Channel Seeds preview night will be Wednesday, Aug. 30. This year’s theme is “Seriously Twisted Fun.” For more information on State Fair events, contact the Fair office at 800-529-0900, visit www.sdstatefair.com or find them on Facebook or Twitter.
