HURON — People are invited to be more informed this election by attending the Election Forum sponsored by the Governmental Affairs Committee of the Huron Chamber & Visitors Bureau, which will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, in the City Commission Conference Room in City Hall, 239 Wisconsin Ave. S.W.
The forum will feature candidates for S.D. District 22 House of Representative, incumbents Roger Chase and Lynn Schneider and candidate Shane Milne from 9 to 9:50 a.m.
Following the District 22 candidates will be opponents and proponents speaking on behalf of Constitutional Amendment D which is the expansion of Medicaid Eligibility from 9:50 to 10:20 a.m., after which will be Initiative Measure 27 regarding the legalization of marijuana from 10:20 to 11 a.m.
The forum will be recorded on the Huron YouTube channel.
