HHS Class of 1962 holds 55th reunion

HURON — Gathering for their 55th class reunion Sept. 22-24, members of the Huron High School Class of 1962 entered a time warp taking them back to their high school years. Although appearances had changed, the spirit was the same.
A breakfast was held Saturday at the Plains, followed by decorating for the banquet. A memorial table was set up with a candle and picture for each of the 57 classmates that have died.
At the banquet, the class members and their 19 guests enjoyed a buffet banquet followed by a roving microphone, where each classmate told a little about themselves. A slide show program about memories of Huron was given by Bob Bushman, a former policeman and volunteer fire fighter.

A collection jar set out by Bob Bushman raised $250, which was donated to the Beadle County Humane Society.
The class plans to meet again for its 60th reunion in 2022.  After all, once a Tiger, always a Tiger.
