Iroquois Ag Issues team ranked top 16 in nation

IROQUOIS — The Iroquois Ag Issues team consisting of seven students have advanced to the in-person contest at the 94th National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, In.

They completed their national contest virtually on Sept. 10 and were selected as one of the top 16 teams in the country. They will be representing South Dakota in the semi-finals on Oct. 27 with their topic, “Which is Healthier — Plant-based or Animal-based Meat?”

The students have received travel scholarships from South Dakota Farmers Union, Farm Forum and Dakota Risk Management, along with a National travel scholarship from the Dan Nafziger Memorial Convention Endowment. Congratulations to the Agricultural Issues Team on being one of the top teams in the United States!
