DE SMET — Judy M. Griffith, 64, of De Smet, passed away Sunday July, 28, 2019, at her home.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in rural Iroquois, with family to arrive at 12:30 p.m.
Judy Marie Giedd was born on Jan. 5, 1955, in Huron, to Clarence and Vivian (Lane) Giedd.
She married Rex VanSickle in 1970.
She married Jim Griffith in 1989.
Judy is survived by her children, Chad (Christy) VanSickle, of Brookings, Chelsey Griffith, of Brandon, and Shelby Griffith, of Sioux Falls; three grandchildren; her father; siblings, Jane Hein, of De Smet, June (Kirby) Page of Iroquois, Tim Giedd of De Smet, Jeff Giedd of Huron, Mike Giedd of De Smet, Jesse (Vickie) Giedd of Howard, and Jamie Giedd of Rapid City; and her many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother; former husbands, Rex VanSickle and Jim Griffith; fathers-in-law; mothers-in-law; brother-in-law, Steve Hein; great niece, Georgia Salter; and nephew, Michael Giedd.
