NORTH SIOUX CITY – The James Valley Vikings soccer team started out the season with four losses, but the team has put things together since, picking up five straight victories, most recently a 7-0 victory Saturday over the Dakota Valley Panthers on the road in North Sioux City.
Landon Wager scored a pair of goals and had an assist to lead the scoring for the Vikings.
Brennen Hood and Isaac Korell split time in goal to pitch the shutout.
Kolby VanDerWerff, Hood, Gavin Waldner, Korell, and Isaac Wipf each added goals for the Vikings, now 5-4.
JVC will host Mitchell on Thursday.
