To the Editor:
Will Rogers once shared this thought; “God is a lot more broad minded than we think he is.”
In my case I sure hope that’s true!
Now wouldn’t it be a good thing if we all began to be more accepting? The fact that something or someone is different is no reason to criticize, discriminate, condemn, or legislate against.
Will also said; “There is nothing as easy as denouncing. It don’t take much to see what’s wrong but it takes good eyesight to make it right.”
To my mind we need less denouncing and more inclusion in these trying times. We need a new focus on things that are helpful and not hurtful.
Kindness is a simple act. Let us all begin to renew our attention to it.
