HURON — Lila L. Bawdon, 87, of Huron, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2019, at SunQuest Healthcare Center.
Her memorial service will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 22, at Kuhler Funeral Home. Entombment will be in the Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery Mausoleum.
Lila LaVonne Hall was born February 2, 1932, in Huron to James and Ada (Baruth) Hall, Jr. She was raised in the Ree Heights area and attended Miller High School. She was united in marriage to Richard Bawdon June 19, 1949. They ranched south of Ree Heights, until moving to Huron in 1968.
She is survived by her children, Jesse Bawdon of Sioux Falls, Diane Bryan of North Pole, AK, Terry (Marla) Bawdon of Huron, and Brad (Brenda) Bawdon of Alpena; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; nine stepgreat-grandchildren; six great-great-stepgrandchildren; sister, Bonnie Heasley of Miller; sister-in-law, Joyce Hall of McAllen, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; sons, Kevin and Stanley; son-in-law, Norm; brother, Don Hall; and brother-in-law, Don Heasley.
