HURON — The Huron seventh-grade volleyball team recorded a sweep in three matches against Pierre on Monday.
The Tigers used set scores of 25-9 and 25-8 to win the A-match.
Jayla Schley had 18 points, including eight aces, to lead Huron. Ramsey Rozell had nine points with an ace, while Arian Pfitzer had seven points and three aces.
Talley Hins had six points, while Autumn Siedschlag and Lana Sharry each had four points. All of them had an ace.
Huron had set wins of 25-18 and 25-11 to win the B-match.
Taylor Sorben sparked the Tigers with 12 points, including three aces. Jesse Mattke had nine points, while Zemi Severance had seven points and two aces. Eh Khu Shee and Cora Wilk finished with six and five points, respectively.
Huron pulled out a 2-0 win in the C-match using scored of 25-19 and 26-24.
Neveah Garcia had nine points, including two aces, for the Tigers, while Severance had six points, Hser Htoo had five points and Hannah Paw had two points.
Huron travels to play Watertown on Thursday.
