WOLSEY — Mildred “Millie” Palmer, 78, of Wolsey, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2019, at Huron Regional Medical Center.
Her Memorial Service will be 1 p.m., Thursday, March 21, at the Welter Funeral Home in Huron with burial in the Wolsey Cemetery at Wolsey. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the Welter Funeral Home or one hour prior to the service.
Millie Goins was born March 1, 1941, in Garrad County, Ky. to William and Louise (Gaffney) Goins. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Palmer October 15, 1959. She worked as a Banquet Coordinator for 25 years at the Crossroads Hotel and Convention Center.
She is survived by her husband; children, Michelle (Kelly) Christopherson of Huron, and Todd Palmer of Wolsey; four grandchildren, Samantha Christopherson, Kyle Christopherson, David (Crystal) Palmer, and Pamela Smith; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Helen (Buster) Broddus, and Vivian Goins all of Lancaster; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; children, Debbie Palmer Montoya, Kevin Palmer, and the Palmer triplets; siblings, Edna Potts, Elaine Hardin, Ruby Harrison, Diane McCain, Christine Bryant, Walter Goins, and Edmond Goins; and her in-laws, Martin and Luverne Palmer.
