SIOUX FALLS — Milton (Milt) Francis Herrick Jr, 88, passed away peacefully at home on March 13, 2021.
Services will be held at a later date at the Fort Meade National Cemetery.

He was born in Breckenridge, Minn., on Jan. 30, 1933, to Milton and Rose (Peterka) Herrick. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a decorated Korean War Veteran. He graduated from Brown Institute School of Broadcasting. He married Aldyth Scott on Jan. 21, 1960, in Bismarck, N.D. He worked in radio broadcasting in Minneapolis, Huron, and Spearfish.
He is survived by sons, Glen (Amy) Herrick of Sioux Falls, and Drew (Rachel) Herrick of St. Louis; four grandsons; and sisters, Doris Pekas of Fargo, N.D., and Marian Fideler of Bryant, Wash.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, John; and his wife of 58 years, Aldyth.
