Miss State Fair, Miss Huron contest is Saturday

HURON — A total of nine young women — Five in the Miss division and four in the Teen — will take to the Farm Bureau/Dakotaland Stage at 2 p.m. Saturday, for the Miss State Fair and Miss Huron and accompanying Teen titles, for the 2023 Scholarship Competition, titled “Corndogs, Cotton Candy & Crowns!”
Miss South Dakota Miranda O’Bryan and Miss South Dakota Teen Nevaeh Kee will be on hand, as well as 2022 local titelists Layne Titze (Miss State Fair), Miss Huron McKayla Gunderson, Miss State Fair Teen Karina Novotny and Miss Huron Teen Jerica Ratigan.
Vying for the 2023 titles are nine young women from acros the state.
