Operation Christmas Child was another huge success for the Huron area, with 1,329 shoeboxes collected and on their way to different parts of the world. Janet Sieler and Barb Woockman, area coordinators, thank everyone who packed a shoebox.
Huron has had a drop-off location for 10 years, and has collected more than 12,200 shoeboxes over that time period. What a blessing to young children who would not otherwise receive a gift, but the added bonus is that they will hear about the greatest gift of all — Jesus!
