Police seek robbery suspect

HURON – Police are asking the public for help in identifying the suspect in a late-night robbery at the Corner Pantry in the 2300 block of Old Highway 14, also known as the West Park Truck Stop.
At about 12:20 a.m. Thursday, an employee was robbed by a male wearing a maroon hoodie, red bandanna, sunglasses and gloves.
The thief demanded the store’s cash from the employee and pointed an unknown object at her that was in the pocket of his hoodie.

The suspect then put the cash from the drawer in a bag and ran out of the store. The thief dropped some money outside in the parking lot as he ran away.
Police are warning people not to attempt to confront the suspect as he may be armed with a weapon and should be considered dangerous.
