HIGHMORE — Richard K. “Dick” Hart, 95, of Highmore, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021.
Funeral mass will be 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Placidus Catholic Church in Duncan, Gann Valley (rural Buffalo County). Masks are highly encouraged at the service. A recording of the service will be available on the funeral home website.
Richard Kenneth Hart was born Sept. 25, 1925, in Miller to Francis V. “Irish” and Mary Alice (Hayes) Hart.
He married Lois on June 30, 1952, in Stephan.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Lois; children, Leo, Teresa, Julie (Shane) Cowan, Janet (Chuck) Hoss, and Lori (Craig) Latham; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister, Rita Bucholz.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Benny; little brother, Leo; and sisters, Louise Knapp, Helen Stanley, and Lenore Wellner.
