BRITTON — Richard William “Rich” Langenfeld, 59, of Britton, passed away following a short battle with cancer, on Monday, May 9, 2022.
A celebration of life will be held this summer, and interment will be a private ceremony at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Watertown.
Rich was born Nov. 5, 1962, to Gerald W. and Sandra (Ward) Langenfeld in Hot Springs. He grew up in Watertown and spent most of his adult life in Britton.
Rich is survived by his longtime partner, Donna Schott of Britton; his mother, Mary Langenfeld of Boise, Idaho; his siblings David (Jennifer) Langenfeld of Cascade, Idaho; Debbie (Dave) Langenfeld Hoops of Huron and Amy Zimerman of Seattle, Wash.; the Schott family, six nieces and nephews and two great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and birth mother.
