HURON — A flood warning continues for the James River in the Huron and Forestburg areas.
At 10 a.m. Sunday the stage was at 17.04 feet. Flood stage is 11 feet, and major flooding is occurring. The river is expected to crest near 18.3 feet by Thursday. At stages near 18.5 feet the former Huron swimming pool area begins flooding.
Do not drive cars through flood areas. The water depth and road condition may be unsafe.
