The Santa for a Senior program in Huron delivered 76 presents this year to senior citizens in the area who might not otherwise receive a gift for Christmas. This is the fourth year for the program to be held in Huron, and the second year that students in the Youth Leadership Council helped volunteers deliver the gifts. “I like seeing their faces light up,” said Morgan Rathjen, a sophomore at Huron High School who is helping again this year. Back row, from left, are Bob Eickhoff, Vanessa Tschetter, Morgan Rathjen, Trisha Parkhurst, Jenny Sorben, Amy Duxbury, Peggy Dahr, Billie Jo Patridge and Robin Skinner; kneeling are Jamie Holforty and Elizabeth Watson; and in front, Cassie Hofer, Tracy Albrecht. Angel Granados and Mumu Soe.
