That strange glow in the north

Michelle Hofer was rewarded for her persistence Tuesday night, as she captured the aurora borealis - more commonly known as the “Northern Lights,” from a spot approximately 13 miles northwest of Huron. Hofer said she used her iPhone 12 Pro Max in night mode, which resulted in a 5-7 second exposure. The lights were only out for about an hour. “I got so lucky!” Hofer said.
