A brigade of volunteers - most of them clad in bright pink t-shirts - were spread throughout Huron on Tuesday, for the United Way - Heartland Region’s Day of Caring. Volunteers spruced up numerous sites with some fresh paint, cleaned up other spaces and generally made improvements throughout the city.
